Medicare Patient Information
Dr. DeWitt is a participating Medicare provider and accepts assignment from Medicare. We will gladly handle all Medicare claim filing for you.
Medicare currently pays 80% of the allowable fee once the annual deductible has been met. You are responsible for payment of the deductible (if not met at time of treatment) and the remaining 20% of the allowable fee, as well as any non-covered services (such as x-rays).
Please advise our office if you have any secondary Medicare supplement insurance as this may offer additional benefits and may reduce the out-of-pocket cost to you.
We are also providers for many of the Medicare Advantage programs. Typically, these plans require only a set copayment at each visit. Please contact your Medicare Advantage carrier or our office should you wish to verify our participation.
